NAK's latest album centers heavily on the complexities, hardships, and beauty of the Filipino American experience. Ashley Court: Ch. 1 weaves themes of identity, faith, generational conflicts, and immigration narratives into an emotional, but lighthearted package full of appreciative fondness for the sacrifices of FA elders and ancestors. Overall, Ashley Court is a cathartic album many now grown-up second generation Filipino Americans can identify and empathize with. 5/5
