Phenomenal tribute to Bob

First off. If you hate bluegrass, why would you listen, and then post a review about how bad it is? I saw them live at the Ryman last month. I did not want the show to end but when it did, I needed to buy this album. Their energy, musicianship (at one point I saw a roadie take over for the drummer, who was playing another instrument), along with personal accounts of how this band has idolized Bob Dylan make me want to travel to another show. This album will be an outstanding accompaniment to me and my friends sitting around a campfire this summer.
Masterful performance of a timeless Bob Dylan Album!

OCMS did not disappoint when covering an entire album live. Not just any album either, one of the greatest albums ever, Blonde on Blonde! They added just enough OCMS and kept the perfect amount of Dylan's composures that each song explodes with new energy.
A Dose of Great Medicine!

I have been a huge Dylan fan for 45 years. I own over 40 of his albums via LP, CD and downloads. I have never owned an OCMS album until this one. I am now a fan! I love listening to Dylan do his own thing, but these guys are giving us a great alternate version of Blonde on Blonde. Many of Dylan's songs are taylor made to be bluegrassed up! Great examples are the Mighty Quinn and When the Ship Comes In. These Dylan songs were both covered by The Hollies many years ago. Great banjo pickin' in both songs! I am ordering a Bluray copy of OCMS Blonde on Blond Concert today. Can't wait!
Ain't it clear?

Dylan fans look at every offering not coming from the man himself with great scepticism, if not outright rejection. After all, nobody sings Dylan like Dylan. The reason for that is quite the same to all of us - every Dylan album has a moment where our hair sticks up on the back of your neck and we're thinking 'Whoa - what the HELL was THAT?' (The "...both agreeing...It. Was. Best!..." Tangled up in Blue/Real Live kinda thing for me...) Old Crow picked a great album, delivered it live and recorded it in fine fashion.
And the What-the-hell-was-that-moment? Check out Ketch Secor belting out "...ain't it cleeeaaar?" on Just like A Woman. You'll get it...
Great download

Old Crow Medicine Show did a great job honoring Bob Dylan and his timeless double album. Please ignore the one star reviews posted here. OCMS covers many artists and musical genres very well, and they do it their way. Who wants them to cover the original artist exactly? If you've never seen OCMS live, do yourself a favor and get to a show. You'll be impressed. Great job on this tribute OCMS, as usual!
No one made such a deal about wagon wheel.

Wanna buy this just because of all the hate. The fact it was live should be taken into account as well. Dylan btw has a lot of bluegrass influence in his music, but that shouldn't surprise you he dipped his pen in about all of the genres. But this is a good album and you get the show live...for $10. It's a good deal.
Old Crow Medicine Show continues to amaze!

By OCMS has done it again!
The fact that Bob Dylan was the idol of OCMS leadman Ketch Secor had me in great anticipation for the release of the Blonde on Blonde tribute album. It did not disappoint. Recorded at the Country Music HOF in Nashville in 2016, the live album is mixed and mastered superbly. Each of the songs has an Old Crow twist which makes them very easy on the ears, and the words of Dylan as emphatic as ever before.
