Love and Rockets are awesome. Love their blend of new wave guitar jams - some 8 minutes long! If “Earth Sun Moon” and their eponymous album are tight power pop guitar songs, this earlier album shows them exploring love and loss, social issues (ball of confusion), and Eastern Philosophy/ meditation, all while jamming long and hard. And not just guitars: check out the drums on “Dog End of a Day...”: heavy duty. The whole album is worth it, as are Express and Earth Sun Moon. Highly recommended.
