From SeriaL Hodgepodge (and its remarkable remixed sister, Podgelism) through this new album, Jeff McIlwain a.k.a. Lusine offers an instantly recognizable style that is precise and emotional. I thought he was verging a little poppier in later releases, but this one is a great blend of typically quirky melodic beats as well as darker tracks with almost ambient swells. Looking forward to more edgier stuff like this (if you read this Jeff!).

... an elite electronic project. The past album and now this, are really masterpieces of production, groove, light touch and unique sounds. Wish more Artists in this field would take note. You CAN make music that doesn't sound like everyone else and also be slightly familiar. You can make a loop a groove not a repetitive bore. And finally, you can be edgy and put a smile on the listeners face! Happy music!
