  • Absolutely brilliant

I've been a Buffy fan since I was thirteen and I am SO glad I stumbled upon this podcast. None of my friends like the show as much as I do so it's really nice to listen to people who share my obsession and who share my opinions. Kristin and Jenny also offer a lot of insight into things I've never thought about and have great facts about the show. It's hilarious and fun and it's like reliving the show all over again. I love the original songs and the interviews and all the extra things you get with this podcast. Keep up the amazing work ❤️

So glad I stumbled onto this podcast several months ago. I fell in love with the show 3 years ago, and revisiting it along with Kristin and Jenny, who have just as much love for it as I do, has been fantastic. The songs that they write for each episode work well, no only in the context of the podcast, but also standing on their own and in an album. They range from fun and quirky with reminiscent throw-backs to the episode in question along with super catchy lyrics (like the opener, "Welcome to the Hellmouth" and its counterpart, "The Harvest"), to being beautiful, emotional and touching pieces that need no context to be appreciated (such as "Prophecy Girl"). Ergo- these are not "podcast quality songs", but rather, high quality songs written by very talented artists who happen to be making a podcast. In short, if you enjoyed Buffy, and you enjoy music, check out this cd. Chances are you'll love it too.

This song is epic. I loved all the songs from season one, (I'm starting to listen to season two podcasts today), but this one was brilliant.

Catchy tunes and clever lyrics. If you're a fan of Buffy, this album is a must listen.
  • The best Buffy podcast

I was pleasently surprised by this podcast. I have attemped to listen to several different Buffy podcasts and was always disappointed. They were either overly nitpicky to an extremely annoying degree or they were just really boring and offered zero insite into the show. Buffering is actually informative, entertaining, and just fun to listen to. I have finally found a great Buffy podcast to listen to. Buffering is really great. I love it.
  • Awoooo!

I've been with these gals since the beginning with Buffering the Podcast and I'm also a Jenny Owen Youngs fan in general, so naturally the two together make for some incredible magic. Incredibly clever, funny, touching lyrics with a great sense of variety (even channelling some Shangri-La's with "The Pack"!). I look forward to to creeping further down the Hellmouth with them, it's just gonna get better and better!
  • Amazing!

This album and the Podcast are amazing. I love these two ladies and I am so happy this show is getting the nerdy, feminist appreciation it deserves!
