Extremely disappointing. If you are hoping to recapture SR's magic, go get SULK's No Illusion. Eerily similar.
THEY ARE BACK!!!

Wow! 22 years since Second Coming, the Roses SMASH their fists through a painfully boring spring music landscape of 2016 to give us something we've needed for years - a danceably psychedelic groove! Squire's incredible guitar, combines with Reni's thik and layered drumbeats lay the perfect bed for Ian Brown's breathy-whispered vox. THE ROSES ARE BACK AND ALL BANDS WISH THEY WERE THEM!!!!
Top notch

If you think it's crap, turn it up in your family room with a three year old and a five year old. It's the greatest song of the year thus far.
This is a joke, right?

Nice way to soil the legacy boys. This is just bad. Awful lyrics. Awful guitar, especially the solo at the end. Awful drums.

So glad the roses are back. And hopefully a world tour.
Too generic for me.

The Roses used to be a very cynical bunch and I loved that distrusting punk rock spirit embedded in their 60s influences. Too much Summer Of Love and not enough God Save The Queen. I hope there's some magic on the new LP.
Ehhh

Those lyrics are comically terrible. Nothing wrong with simplicity, but those are pretty dire. But then again, so are those on Second Coming and the Seahorses record.
I can’t get over how bad the lyrics are….

“All for one, one for all. Let’s join hands and make a wall”??? Seriously…. And this comes from a long time SR fan. Regardless of the music, I can’t get over how bad that is.
Glad They're Back

But I hope they can do better. One basic chorus over and over and over... is disappointing for a 1st song in over 20 years. Sounds like a B-side at best.
Third Coming!

They're really back again! Ian Brown and the Roses still sound amazing 27 years after their debut. All For One is a great return to form, even better than Love Spreads from their second and previous album Second Coming from 22 years ago. That was the shining moment on that album. If the new album has more songs this good, we are getting more than I could have hoped for. I've always liked this band. They deserve to be adored.
