Decided to just read the lyrics when while listening. I get what he's trying to say but disappointed that he had to go so far as start cursing in his music now.

Mali Music wasn't broken so why the need to fix it with worldly lyrics?
  • Listen closely!

This isn't for the pulpit, but for the boat, the countryside, the temple courts, the highways and the byways... in other words to "all the world". He's not calling anyone a "B", but questioning how people do. I question its hook blaming this on being "digital" rather than placing the blame squarely on sIn. Musically, this is great. I hope the album has a variety of musical styles within the genre.

Originally I was going to give this song two stars. But the more I listened to the song, before trying to judge I realized that Mali is still making headway and is still doing great music. Mali is with out question one of the most talented people of this generation. I don't blame him for stretching his arm and trying new things. If we were to analyze his evolution; from "the second coming," to the indie soul vibe of "Mali is" we will see he took a big leap of faith on this one. The two stars was not so much the content of the music, because you can still here the "Mali Message." It was more of the synchronization of his unique instrumental caliber with the old school R&b style, it really through me off. Not only that the rap style sounds like most "fake rappers" today. The, ta ta ta, thing whatever that is lol. I just want more of his uniqueness- not blending it with the rest of the bs music out there today.
  • Awesome as usual
