that, while sexy, the original Klimpt painting they're riffing on with this cover art depicts a god raping a sleeping mortal?

I feel in love with the "Sonnymoon" duo, Anna Wise and Dane Orr upon first listen. His dissimilar rhythms and otherworldly sounds along with her "Goddess" -like voice were a creation gifted from the universe. Anna's debut solo album, while unique and catchy, akin to the critically acclaimed James Blake, unfortunately hurls into a different direction from Sonnymoon's course and almost kills me with its almost blatant corniness here and there, especially with its interludes. "Precious Possession" and "BitchSlut" seem to fittingly be the major high points in album where Anna takes off, all the while still owing modestly to Sonnymoon's spacious style. I absolutely adore Anna's subtle, test sometimes blankly striking personally, emotions, and image. Sadly, for me, I'm am not elated about this not-so-new area she is trying to step into.

Love every track on this album. It has very uncanny and unpredictable lyrics, tight beats, and just an over good vibe. More people need to hear this album . I became aware of Anna Wise by the great work she's done with Kendrick Lamar. Just think of the foresight that Lamar had to have to pick Anna to work with him. He could have chosen anyone, but he chose someone special instead.
