It's Almost Christmas

This collection of songs by Jon and Valerie exudes Christmas Cheer. The arrangements perfectly reflect their musical personality and the recording is simple, clear and beautiful. Many Christmas projects are shlock. This is not. Listening to this group of songs gives me the same feeling as watching a loved one open a cherished gift on Christmas morning, or smelling Christmas cookies baking in the kitchen. It’s like trimming the tree of your heart. It’s that good. This is my first exposure to Jon and Valerie’s music. I hope it is just the first of a long line of favorites. Thank you Jon and Valerie. This a stunning album!

I buy a Christmas album for my collection every year and this one is now my favorite. Their voice and music have so much character and personality. Even the covers of Christmas classics come alive in a new way infused with Jon and Valerie's style of music. I can't stop listening to it. Treat yourself this Christmas to their music.

I've been following Jon Guerra's music through Vertical Church Band, but this album, specifically Lord Remind Me, has touched my heart in the most beautiful way. I love Valerie's voice as well. Hello, new favorite Christmas album. Blessings to the Guerras!

Can’t stop playing this album!

The perfect holiday album! The covers, the originals, the mashup, it’s just an awesome mix of music for the season. It’s hip for the young, classic for the old, and heartfelt for all.

I'm the type of person that is strictly against any Christmas music prior to Thanksgiving. However, I love Jon's music and once I gave this a listen, I couldn't stop! It's so good and really has the "feeling" of Christmas!

This is the most beautiful album I've hear in a very long time. The original song "Lord Remind Me" brought me to tears the first time I heard it. The lyrics are beautifully crafted and the whole song contains so much relatable emotion. I'm so glad I found this music. This has quickly become a favorite album.

Wow. I LOVE Christmas music, and every year I listen to people butcher and kill great songs, with no originality, no authenticity, no spirit. And I think the tough things about doing a great version of a Christmas song is that what transcends it is the feeling. It has to be coming from somewhere real. I had never heard of Jon or his wife Valerie until I bought this album yesterday. Reading a bit of the story of these recordings, it is clear they come from a real place, full of heart and joy. And you hear that. I can see this becoming one of my fav Holiday albums. Bravo!

I first saw this album as it was “Pre-Released” on Relevant’s online music selection. Great sound. Great music…I used to say I wouldn’t listen to Christmas music until after Thanksgiving.,,This album changed that philosophy.
