Leonard Slatkin is a remarkable conductor. Sad to hear that he is leaving the NSO AND The music was not written for V for Vendetta....

The 1812 Overture is exactly like the one from V for Vendetta. It actually made me feel like I was sitting back in the movie theatre. Very nice.

I like this music because It makes me feel as if I am in a whole new world.
