The creator of this music video, saeed Al Marook, dedicated it to his deaf/mute parents. Hence the message at the end of the credits "To those who taught me the visual language". He shopped it around to several Lebanese singers and was turned down because none felt comfortable being a part of it. Disability is still a taboo in middle eastern society, so this video is quite gutsy, poignant and a pioneer of the genre. Needless to say, Lebanon is always a pioneer of creativity in the Middle East. Young and gorgeous Nancy Ajram loved the idea and message behind it. There is a new song and a new music video that continues the story of the beauty and her deaf/mute boyfriend. Here's hoping to see it on iTunes. Thank you Apple for bringing this video to us. I could not believe it when I saw it and bought it on the spot. More Lebanese Music Videos please.
