Most Likely You Go Your Way (And I'll Go Mine)

When Blonde on Blonde came out I was walking down Market Street in San Francisco. Blonde on Blonde and Love Supreme by John Coltrane are the only two albums which I have carried under my arm and made people play before we even started a conversation. In those days, I had a plastic portable record player so I brought the music and the music player. Now I can bring an ipod and show them in music video what I couldn't describe before. This song needs to be heard and seen. These itunes folks are just blowing the roof off with this quality Bob Dylan stuff
Wrong album!

Don't get me wrong. This is a great video. The photo that this is based on is the album artwork for "Freewheelin'". However, the song is from 'Blonde on Blonde". Otherwise, this is a great album but Columbia should get their facts striate.

First and foremost, I am a big fan of the man, himself, Bob Dylan. I was curious when I originally heard the remix casted by Mark Ronson (being that remixes of most songs have their highs and lows). However I fell in love with Mark's styling on the track and it was as if I was introduced to "You go your way and I'll go mine" for the first time (again). The video, itself, chronicles both Dylan's stages in his life/musical career, and chronicles our own past, as a generation, from the 60's all the way through to the present being accompanied by tumpets and horns in the backround. It's a trip and it's definately worth buying.
Great Video!

wow i cant believe i'm the first to comment on this brilliant video. it chonicles the career of dylan and shows the different 'hats'(both figuratively and literaly) that dylan has worn over the years.
