This video encapsulates everything that was so fresh, pure and invigorating about the new 1990's Seattle Sound / Grunge / Alternative music MOVEMENT that was about to take over mainstream music for the next two to threr years in 1992 when this video was released. This is Pearl Jam's Battle Cry, like Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit. This announced the end of 80's pop rock...and the rebirth of pure, stripped down rock and roll. This was also the second video that was shot for Even Flow. (The band disliked the original concept video, filmed at a zoo, and insisted on a video featuring them playing live. tp ca[ture the emnergy pof the band, who had been touring relentlessly for the past year in support of their debut album Ten. Sony allowed them to shoot a second video. Filmed at Seattle's Moore Theater over a few nights by director Josh Taft, from the moment it starts to the moment it ends...it's pure, raw Pearl Jam experience. This is the best Pearl Jam video ever made in my opinion.

Ahh, the way a band should be, full of rage and anger! "Ten" was and is their best work. They have since matured, mellowed and lost what made them great. Too bad.

This video blew me away when I first saw it on MTV before the Ten album was released. I've been a PJ fan ever since.

Eddie Vedder uses his voice for what it was made to do in this version, the video depicts the band and the front man extremely well. you've got to be crazy not to love this.

This video is absolutely amazing. Pearl Jam is the greatest there will ever be. I love the part where Eddie just falls into the crowd so gracefully. Absolutely perfect:)

Eddie sings this perfectly, and it's live for the most part, shows how good their live performances are and makes me really hope they come to Texas soon, look at all the energy on stage. P.S. Jeff always wears the coolest hats

Its great seeing this video from back in the day. :) they look so young!! haha I saw them in August in Chicago, they are STILL rocking like they did back in the 90s!! if they come to perform near you i would HIGHLY consider going to see them!
