This song/video reminds me when I first visited Ghana in 1996 and drove along the humongous mountains and beaches--finally arriving at Elmina Castle and paid homage to our Ancestors. Rihanna's melodic voice sends chills down my body as I close my eyes and reflect on what this country or rather the entire Afrikan continent has endured for centuries and the resilience of its people. Such a beautiful and thought-provoking song!
