I am a HUGE fan of Twenty-Øne Piløts and have been for a VERY long time. I am disappointed. They’re turning into everyone else. If I heard this song on the radio, I might not know it’s my favorite band, I’d just think it’s one of the many rappers out there who are all just like each other. I love Twenty-Øne Piløts because it’s unique, but Levitate is transforming into conforming. The lyrics may leave different images in your mind, but the melody has fallen to a place where everyone IS the same image. The beat is only an echo of what already exists. This isn’t the music I thought I would hear.
