the sound quality is horrible...true this piece has never been published but the sound quality makes this a total waste. this sounds like a record player. if you are going to call yourself a producer then put out a better quailty product.
  • Wonderful piece, TERRIBLE RECORDING!!

I am crazy for the work of John Williams and even if this recording was just plain bad, I would encourage one to purchase it. However, the quality of this recording is much worse than bad. It is abysmal, downright terrible. One vainly strains their ears to hear any of Williams' piece through the static which is this recording. Find a different recording if you can. Stay away from this one. It is not worth your money.
  • Horrible, awful, shameful!!!

Yes, it is a "live" recording ...but the engineering is scandalous! Noise and overdriven sound levels - the only pristine levels are the clarinet tracks & audience "coughing" - not worth the album price - $1.99 -at most, for Williams fans. Bad news, itunes!!
  • This recording is a scam

The worst bootleg I've ever heard sounds great next to this. This recording is total trash. It's unconscionable to charge money for this, considering how unlistenable it is.

I like this work. Haven't heard of the Corigliano before and am impressed.
  • People, don't buy this!

This is clearly a bootleg recording, the sound quality is abysmal...how it even got on iTunes in the first place is a mystery to me. 'JOHN WILLIAMS CLARINET CONCERTO FAN' is just a spammer trying to turn a profit on his unauthorized CD. Don't buy it!
  • Hey John Williams Clarinet Concerto Producer:

I'm tired of you spamming iTunes by writing so-called "reviews" of classical albums (always 5 stars whether you've heard the album you're reviewing or not) in order to advertise this John Williams thing. Knock it off! I'm not going to buy this concerto! If you want to advertise, start at least writing REAL REVIEWS! Oh and here's my review of this album based on the 60 seconds I've heard of it (if you can do it, so can I): BORING!!!
  • Great piece, horrible recording quality

I wait for the day that this piece (the John Williams Clarinet Concerto) will be available in a proper recording quality. From the samples I can hear it's a great piece, beautifully played too, but the recording quality is so horrible that it takes away the pleasure of listening.
  • Really wonderful piece

The reviewers who rated this piece lower than 4 stars don't seem to appreciate what a wondeful work this really is. Without this recording, the piece wouldn't be known at all as there are no other recordings of it and the piece is still unreleased. I'm greatful to be able to hear it!
  • tsk tsk tsk

curse who ever recorded this live performance of Michele Zukovsky and John Williams. His clarinet concerto is great but agh the fidelity is just...crap! i suggest you preview some songs before buying this album. i would have done the same but with names like Zukovsky and Williams, I just couldnt wait to buy any longer.
