  • Amazing Voices

This second act just isn’t as passionate as the first. All five gentlemen have incredible voices. Richard’s tone is especially gorgeous. But the arrangements on this album were subdued and pretty deadened. The first album had inspiration and intensity, just like musical theatre would. This album sounds like a lot of orchestration that goes nowhere. I think on the first album, you could tell the boys had fun making it, but on this one, they were made to sound like they were asleep at the wheel. Their next album needs to have much more diversity in range in the harmonies, more driven arrangements vocally and instrumentally, and just better material overall.

I'm a fan, and their first album was wonderful and listen to it over and over, but Act Two does not inspire or move me like the first album. To me the must have taken sleeping pills and recorded this album just before they drifted off into sleep.

The clarity of the individual voices were lost on this one, often overpowered by the background music and chorus. The sone “I will be there for you” was sung like a funeral dirge. It was a nice album and enjoyable but they seem to have lost some of the purity of voice that was so evident in the first album.
  • Great voice, overproduced tracks.

I have nothing but respect for these guys, they are super talented. I enjoyed the album, but I found it a little overproduced. They have great voices, they don't need an Orchestra drowning them out. I hope Collabro will tour the U.S.! I'd definitely go see one of their shows!

How can not one, but five men have the voices of angels?! They are all beyond flawless. I can't put into words how amazingly talented they are and how they very much could be (and I believe that they WILL be) the next big thing! They're cover of Over The Rainbow (in my opinion) was better than Josh Groban's! (No offense Josh, your awesome) but.... The way they harmonize and that they can hit those notes flawlessly without fail is perfect! I get chills listening to them they are so good! Plus it's always a pleasure to hear people sing live that can actually sing! I mean sometimes I think they're better live than recorded! I guess my point is, Collabro is phenomenal and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for them.
