  • Been dying for more Bruce!

Just purchased this nice collection of Bruce Hornsby’s songs. Some people may wish others were included, but honestly I have been missing this guy’s music and particularly his brilliant piano playing for so many years, and this nice sized collection of tunes helps satiate that hunger.

    Jack. Straw. That is all.
  • Need to add Song H

Song H won the Grammy, I believe, and in any event deserves to be included in any "essential" B.H. collection. It is a glimmering, magical piece, full of whimsy and virtuouso piano playing, along with wonderful orchestration.
  • Meh.

If this is all you're gonna get from BH, then okay -- not the greatest collection (wassup with the edits? and the NEW Noisemaker tune included is zzzz ). If not and you're still intrigued, just get the box set...no, not all of it is available on iTunes. You'll survive if you buy the actual physical entity and oh, I dunno, rip it to iTunes. Plus, it's got a great booklet. Speaking of booklets...iTunes? No pdf for this one, huh?

Come on’ I know Hornsby changed labels, but this isn’t the Essential collection. So many better songs missing from this collection.
