These digital remasters sound amazing. What can you say? These were incredible albums. For those criticizing the live album… I guess they aren’t aware of Dave live. I have a bootleg of a 1982 concert in Largo, MD… Dave is doing Dave and while he’s older, he’s still Dave. Live he’s more of an entertainer than a singer and he always has been. Don’t let the negativity dissuade you. These are well worth the price of admission. Definitely better than the cassettes ever were.

The LIVE VAN HALEN is horrible!!!!!

Best American Rock Band of All Time Despite the disfunction.

I like some of the songs by Dave but this whole album forgets about the Sammy Hagar years in Van Halen, you can’t forget the classic why can’t this be love, and the song 316, and the song Roundround, this is not the Van Halen collection.

If you want Van Hagar, go buy the Hagar albums. If you want Van Halen, this is a good set. The live album is okay, but it has all the DLR albums, which is real Van Halen.

Never never never, diamond Dave was is and will alway be the true front man of the band a real on stage presence. Sammy was just a follow up.. sloppy seconds !!!!

Old school VH is the best but the live album at the end when Old ass Dave can’t sing anymore is garbage.

They forgot Eat em and smile. 🤣

Buy the individual albums because this has is nothing but a few albums and rehashes of those same albums as “live” versions. Jeez it doesn’t even have the Hagar era.

So I guess all the other great albums with Sammy are being tossed aside, how stupid.
