Dexter Roberts appeared on AI 13, and while voted off still warrants some considerable attention. I'm a sucker for a deep voice and a singer with a bit of a growl that doesn't take away from, or interfere with, their vocals to the point of becoming distracting like some singers do with their too-often-thrown-in-runs and scales. Roberts delivers that, with the natural ability to make you feel what emotion of which he is singing. This is a great introduction to his music if you haven't yet heard it, and a nice introduction to your Dexter Roberts collection if you already are a fan.
