Peggy Lee meets Paul McCartney

"Let's Love" the LP's title track recorded by Peggy Lee later in her career, was written and produced for this album by Paul McCartney. As far as I remember, the song garnered mild airplay when it was released, but is a collector's item for McCartney fans. I have the original vinyl LP (that stands for Long Play, kids!) and it featured only the first 11 tracks. This re-release boasts 5 bonus tracks, including a never-before-released alternate version of the McCartney tune. The best of the other tracks are: "Sometimes", "The Nickel Ride", "Let's Keep Dancing" (a sequel of sorts to her 1960's hit "Is That All There Is?") and a surprisingly effective cover of The Stylistics' "You Make Me Feel Brand New". The remaining tracks are pretty much dismissable "filler" and quite typical of 70's album releases by similar aging artists.
