While I do agree that Ferguson events should not be compared to one of those in Selma. In my opinion I think the artist was referring more to the occurrences that led up to the Ferguson protests, not how they protested. How people of color were being judged and treated unfairly by certain cops (not saying all just some). Just my opinion though.
