I had the pleasure of seeing both of these performances and can attest to the sublime power of both recordings. The Raskatov has an ending that is just as shocking if not more beautiful than the Stravinsky. Tomoko Mukaiyama's playing is gorgeous and precise. Hopefully others won't give it away, you must listen through the whole performance and let it envelop you. Two incredible performances recorded in an acoustically perfect hall with a conductor who is not afraid of the contemporary and modern. I can't recommend this enough.
