Hawaiian songs by foeriegners

Full of beautiful traditional Hawaiian songs/chants that are sung and chanted by talented voices. The only thing is it is not authentic because the vocalists are not Hawaiian, they are haole (foreigners). Hawaiians can spot the difference when we hoʻolohe (listen). I hate to bash this album because the vocalists really are talented but if you are looking for authentic Hawaiian mele look up someone like Kealiʻi Reichel or Israel Kamakawiwoʻole (bradda IZ).

For a mere ten dollars, this is an incredible deal - 29 tracks of old Hawaiian songs sung in hauntingly rich voices. If you’re a history buff, this album is for you. The album includes a couple of original songs written by the deposed Queen Liliuokalani in 1895 while she was under house arrest in the Iolani palace.
