This album was truly overlooked when it came out in the 70's. It was then and still is my favorite. Her version of Dolly Patron's classic "I Will Always Love You" is the best cover I have ever heard.
  • Definitly a HUGE highlight of her 70s albums

Beautiful all the way through. Each song a masterpiece of vocal and musical production. Peter Asher was in prime form on this one. It's my favorite of Linda's from the 70s (Hasten being #2). From the country vibe of 'Love Is A Rose' to the rock version of 'Heat Wave' the covers of 'I Will Always Love You', 'The Sweetest Gift' & 'Many Rivers To Cross' one of the albums prettiest tracks and all in between it's a flawless, timeless album.

You cannot go wrong with any of her albums - they are a joy to listen to in their entirety. Remember when you dropped the needle and listened all the way through an album? Not all records are so good that they made you do that over and over - this is. Each song is pristine and sung by a master interpreter in prime form.
