Not really sure why people are saying the songs don't fit the story. Lucky Star was so much fun and fits in with Peter Pan (second star to the right and straight on 'til morning), Memory with the folks from the retirement home, and Take Me Home Tonight is used for pet adoption. Seems to fit into the story to me. From what I've read in interviews Melt With You and Werewolves of London were not suggested by Colfer but by the other writers. I think they're a lot of fun, especially WOL.
I like how there are no solos, just group numbers and duets.

Great nostalgic feelings about old glee with this episode and it’s music. Go Chris Colfer for achieving the impossible! I specially love Memory and Lucky Star.

The songs & scenes fit the story perfectly. Colfer's episode (with great performances by the entire cast) have wonderful editing for these songs/scenes. I honestly love all of the songs in this episode! My favorites are "Lucky Star" and "Memory", along with "Melt With You". The scenes were fantastic!

Chris's cover of Memory is SO beautiful!! It showcases his angelic voice and the lyrics are a so beautiful!! Listening to Chris sing this song just makes me cry. Not tears in my eyes but tears running down my face. SO beautiful!!

Memory is still awesome. Take Me Home Tonight is amazing, but not my fav. Buy this to support Chris Colfer and because these songs are awesome!
