Love this song and Dexter's delivery!

I was glad that Dexter finally sang a ballad on the show, since it showcased a different side of his voice compared to all the "epic" country songs he's tackled thus far this season. I was pleasantly surprised to find out the background singer is Allison Iraheta, who came in 4th place back in Season 8. Dexter and Allison compliment each other's voices well, so I hope they collaborate together on future songs (even though Allison was known more as a rocker). I hope Dexter continues to do more ballads, since he showed a very soulful side with this cover.
