OMG it's amazing I love it. At first I was unsure because of the problems with Cecil's voice but....AAAHH it's such a great episode

Look, I agree it sounds different. But if you ever listened to song off of iTunes and then hear it live the song will be performed differently. It's the same with Nightvale. This episode was litterally meant to be twice as long, twice as ridiculous, and twice of everything that makes Nightvale great. So quite honesty I think it was great!!
  • Love it!

So glad that this live episode is here on iTunes. I was laughing my head off listening to it. Hopefully the live show that is currently on tour will eventually be available here as well. Keep up the good work, Night Vale!
  • Excellent!

I do agree that Mr. Baldwin could have used a more effective mic, but that does not at all detract from the enjoyment of the show!! The voices and acting was phenomenal, as usual. Definitely one of my favorites so far! (Not that I don't love all of the Night Vale episodes!) Fantastic job, Mr. Fink, Mr. Cranor, and all else who had a hand in the production!! I hope to be listening to Night Vale for a long time to come! (Not that time exists, though... of course it doesn't.)
  • An excellent double-length episode

Cecil doesn’t sound quite like himself, due to the venue and recording differences between this and the regular episodes, but the story is excellent, and it’s good to hear so many other characters in this one.
  • I love Night Vale ... But....

Ok, so my friend showed me night vale long time ago and i loved it. But this episode does not sound the same, due to him have ing to project his voice out. Also the dialog sounded different completely. But It was still worth it.

Please give Cecil Baldwin some amplification. Cecil Baldwin trying to project to hit the back of a venue does not sound like Cecil Gershwin behind his mic in a studio. It was a bit jarring, and WTNV relies on Cecil being more low-key and "radiolike". Rest of the regular cast, especially Mara Wilson, great job, solid performance. It may take me awhile to get used to Carlos, if he gets added to the regulars, but that's not the actor's fault. Writing seemed slightly off-stride, kinda missing the zing and electricity of earlier NV, maybe that's just the price of doing it live. All in all, worth the time and the money, it just doesn't stand out above some really great podcast work where NV has thrived. Good effort mostly, folks.
