Surprisingly good quality for the 1990s??? Does this mean that (in your opinion) the quality of recordings from the '90s were not of "good quality." I'd certainly disagree with you there. A huge quantity of my recordings come from the '90s, and I haven't had any complaints with the quality of those recordings. Wanna explain?

The Brahms symphonies and the included overtures are such amazing works! They are recorded here with surprisingly good quality for the 1990s and are free from any major flaws. This album is wonderful to listen to.
