lisa's vocals are so lush and ethereal... she can do no wrong.
this album is always on heavy rotation.
"born to fly", "cherry", "dim light", and "grown apart"... perfect tracks and must be owned.

The snare is WAY too loud on Cherry. And the self indulgent drum programming on Matter Of Time is really irritating.

This chick is hot. Check out all her stuff with Miguel Migs....great dance music.....reminds me of the 80's underground clubs in NYC. Her voice is very seductive
excellent

If you forgot what it was like to want to seduce your man or woman... If you are having a hard time enjoying the soul of a really good red wine... If rainy days mean that it's just water falling from the sky.. Then you have to buy this album. I know that everyone is getting Grown Apart - but it is because they just don't know.... Your soul needs this.... Now go make love!

Whether u are in ur office, at home around that fireplace with a glass of red, hosting a house dinner party, cocktail hours, climbing up the stairmaster at the gym with "Born to Fly", morning rise, or a drive through the night, that familiar runway music on the catwalk, dance to "Let it Ride (Jimspter Remix) or just celebrating "fabulousness". So crisp, sophisticated, poetry lyric, empower, strangely erotic, each track uniquely defined....for all the souls with good taste! Enjoy it!
Don't know how she did it...

...but Lisa Shaw has breathed new life into the uber tired R&B format. I didn't think it was possible. Sexy and modern, while still maintaing a connection to old school--I agree with another reviewer that this is "future soul." And it's great future soul.
