This band rocks. Marty Friedman that was in Megadeth was in this band that later changed their name to Hawaii. Great bands.

Hey People this is NOT the Vixen as described in this album's biography! This is NOT my beloved band of fame, "Edge of a broken heart, or Cryin!" This is NOT Janet Gardner, Jan Kuehnemund. Roxy Petrucci, Share Pedersen! This IS an 80's metal band from Hawaii featuring Kim La Chance, and Marty Friedman (Megadeth). La Chance has EXCELLENT vocal ability & House.... is excellent. Marty well...his reputation precedes him. And, by the way, this Vixen never made it to MTV. I listened to this because I thought it was Roxy Petrucci & gang. I didn't get very far before I realized it wasn't.

The sound quality is a little shaky for being remastered. The songs though, are not that bad. Definitely has that early '80s metal sound. The only thing I can think of as a way of describing it is imagine Lita Ford with a real shred guitar player. Could be a 4-star review if the sound quality was a little more on point.

Take into context when this music arrived. No girl rock and roll bands of any substance. then the Vixens showed up. Always good always one of the best videos on MTV (old MTV) When they actually had music videos.

This is not the Vixen I know and love. It's not even in the same quality as the one I love. For one the Lead singer of this one has a terrible voice and two the music is more punk than heavy metal. It doesn't even got a since of feeling in it. My suggestion is that this band whoever they are drop the name Vixen and fast cause this music just isn't in the same field as the Vixen I know.
And if it is the same Vixen then get Janet Gardners butt back here on vocals, Jan back on Guitar, Share on Bass, and Roxy back on Drums cause Vixen isn't the same with out these 4 lovely woman.
So till then this album is a complete flop in my eyes and I'm sure a bunch of other Vixen fans eyes.
