Reviews

  • Aimard doing what he does best.

This is a good recital that explores the many facets of Aimard. The playing is great across the board. The only odd thing I noticed was the weird french inflections in the Beethoven, especially in the last movement. Then again this is evidence of his wit and charm and although I wasn't there to hear the concert it was all most likley delivered with a wink and a nod. His Legeti and Messiaen alone are worth the price of admission.
