Ishtar Is Amazing

This album blends modern pop, middle eastern, spanish, french pop and more. But in typical Ishtar fashion, it all works really well together to create a fresh, unique sound that "is" the sound of Ishtar. This album is a bit more uptempo/pop and a lot more of the songs sung in English than the last few Ishtar albums. The stand out tracks are "Forever" which blends mid-tempo dance and middle eastern sounds with an accoustic quitar riff as the center of the song, "Mi Amor" and "Get Loud" which blend euro-pop, urban and dance music woven into the usual middle eastern and spanish influence that is Isthar. And "Une Sueno" and "Adios Barcelona" are a bit of a retake/throwback to the Alabina years straight up blending middle eastern and spanish influences. As usual Ishtar's voice is amazing. Really a fun album.
