I first heard this on the DJ Sammy web site. I have looked for the album everywhere and can not find it in the states. Found Why on itunes!!! I am now dancing with excitement!!! DJ Sammy is a total Genius.

Why is it so terribly difficult for so many, many DJ's to understand that not every ballad translates into a dance track? First there was the "Titanic" Celine Dion number, then Cyndi Lauper's "Time After Time", and now this? I, too, am saying 'why'. Annie Lennox's brilliant, soul-wrenching, psychologically profound, gorgeously produced song that is unparalleled in its honesty could not be improved upon unless she herself were to tweak it somehow in her infinite wisdom. I realize there are profits to be made with this sort of thing but this is ridiculous. Complete and utter crap. Please give Annie back her song.

Ever since "Heaven" and "Boys of Summer", DJ Sammy has gone in the tank. This tune has a bland beat and is basically forgettable. The remix of "Boys of Summer" is one of my all-time faves but this track is so bad, I wouldn't play it unless someone paid me.

This music is crap. It's not even music. I hate it. Techno is for loosers! don't buy this or any techno

Another amazing song from DJ Sammy! He knows how to pick the right vocals and the right beats and mealodies... This is a great song to get up and dance to or put it on to brighten up your day! Thanks DJ Sammy!

I recommend the first 6 on the single. The last couple aren't that great and just didn't click with me. The Phunk Investigation mix is great techno, and DJ Sammy's Extended Mix is better than the original (the original is my least favorite). Breeze & Styles make Why a fast-paced, hard techno pumping song perfect for working out, and the Candlelight mix is good and chill, but if you want a chill version of Why, just stick with Annie Lennox's original. Nothing compares with her voice.

I LOVE this song. The original by Annie Lenox is great but this song by DJ SAMMY is a great remix. Everytime I listen to it, I sing along with it and can't help but get up and dance. It makes me feel so good. My favorites are the radio edit and candlelight mix.

Another great remix of HIT song "Why". DJ SAMMY is genius in making mixes. Between the lyrics and the sound DJ Sammy will make you feel like you're in heaven. Look for his new CD > THE RISE < If you are planning a party or just want to listen good, dance music, have DJ SAMMY in your collection.
