At least these guys are creative and original. Its also great to see a short album without trying to make 10-12 songs just because.

Read a lot of reviews, Veer Union is one of my favorite bands and while this isn't their best album its still pretty dang good. Listen, rock has become underground and the few rock fans left need to support bands like this not talk junk. As for me I'm buying it.

I am disappointed it's not a full length album. But it's great. This deserves better reviews!

I don't understand all the comments about being disappointed. This album screams The Veer Union. My Shadow, Brave The Impossible, and You Never Learn all sound like a continuation of Divide The Blackened Sky. This album is a great start to a two volume album. I was a little disappointed in The World I Wanted. Plan For My Escape and Imaginarium sound like a new direction that the band may be going in my opinion. Solid songs just not as good as My Shadow, Brave The Impossible, and You Never Learn. This album is full of emotion and if you aren't getting that from listening to the album then you're not listening to it at all. You are only hearing it. Keep at Crispin and Co. You guys have fulfilled my expectation completely!

You can't bury THE VEER UNION -- music industry! The fans have spoken and VEER is back. This VEER is a little harder rock, great vocals, and it kicks a**! Support good rock so we can get a full cd or Volume 2. Show your allegiance to the VEER.

I hate to say this but I am disappointed. I absolutely love this band, I listen to their last album all the time. I was so excited for this to come out and tweeted all about it but just listening to it the first few times through it seems like their music lost the emotion. The riffs are gone, the music is generic, Crispin's voice is not highlighted but rather overpowered by the screeching treble guitars. This version of the world I wanted is horrendous, they experimented with the accoustics and it was a swing and a miss. The original is under Crispin's name and does not have the distorted voice and is much better. I hope they get back to songs like I will remain, bitter end, etc.... just my opinion still love you guys hope vol 2 brings you back with a vengeance. How about getting someone to pay attention to your last cd divide the blackened sky as well that cd is unreal! I am sure this was a new direction and experimentation but it definitely lost that passionate rock feel from before.

The Veer Union is a great band, great feel, real talent. But I was honesty disappointed in this album. Comparing it to their past work, this record just sounds too similar to itself in each song, and their past work..granite I'm not a fan of this record, the band itself is great. And I do highly recommend their past records.
