This song is very special to me because i wrote it for a very special person in my life whom I thought I would never see again. She was my childhood sweetheart and first love. Many years later, she managed to find me and went to great lengths to contact me even though I didn't want to see her. Now I am glad she did. The lyrics say, "Cause you mean the world to me. Now tell me why can't you believe, there's no way that I'm ever gonna change." She has shown me that sometimes no matter how different we may be or how far apart our lives can grow, the unescapable fact is that we can never forget our first love.
