Bill Bruford was too good for YES, he made the right decision moving on to the Jazz-Fusion realm, and we are all fortunate he did. This collection is a great intro to the world of intricate melody that Bill embraces ... his move in and out of King Crimson makes total sense when listening to this music ... I dare say this music is more accessible than Crimson's tho, occasionally, as obtuse. Five stars!
The record that got me into all these guys

As a teen, I pretty much had limited exposure to good music and was pretty much still listening to Rush all of the time.
When a guy that owned a record store took this out and played it on the store system It hit me like a ton of virgins.
I had to have it, they were speaking my language. I must have bought everything he had on those shelves.

It's a shame that this is the only Bruford studio recordings available on iTunes. This band ranks right up with Return To Forever. Alan Holdsworth and Jeff Berlin are simply amazing. You will not regret having this album in your collection.
