    I stumbled upon an unaccounted for copy of “Surrender” someone returned to a now-defunct electronics chain I worked at back in ’99 and it blew my mind. It was so much more than “Techno”. It was a refreshingly rich sonic landscape laying out a journey from one track to the next. Subsequently I always found something I dug on Chemical Brothers releases, but nothing like “Surrender” that demands start-to-finish listening… until… THIS. (And just in case you are somehow incapable of envisioning your own mind blowing visuals as the music plays, they’ve included 8 beautiful and surreal video vignettes with the album to help you. How thoughtful!)
