I've always heard of this Band in the Mall's or Shopping Centers and I say"I need to buy that or find it cause I like different sounds of Music and they have that"!

I've been a follower since the beginning. Sure, they've gone through periods where they have a different sound, who cares?! It's called evolving and I could care less as long as they're still churning out new tunes. I've met them, seen them at least 10 times in concert and I couldn't come up with a bad word if I tried. This album has gone back to the Crossing the Rubicon sound but dang, I'd be upset if they never released Something to Die For. Call me biased but every album has it's place for a time in your life. Don't miss out on adding this one.

I knew that it would be hard for them to match Something to Die For, which is easily one of the best albums I've ever heard, but this album is a bigger letdown that I anticipated. It's pretty bland. Only a few songs really stick out at all--Emperor and Hurt the Ones I Love mainly. More importantly, it's really sad to hear the damage done to Maja's voice by the smoking. You can really hear it when she attempts to belt out a line, and it makes you wonder if there's much hope for future releases. Overall the album is good, but the main result of it was me reminiscing over their prior works.

  • Very Forgettable

This is probably the band's weakest record. It's not bad, it's just very forgettable. There's not a single song that sticks out as being better than the others either. But putting out one bad record is not the end of the world. It happens. Still a great band.

Incredible. Up to this point Crossing The Rubicon was the best album but this one builds on the hooks and melodies of that album. Finely written and fantastic music. A must buy for any fan of good written and played music. The Sounds should be respected from here on out, after this album.

Yeah, you heard me. The Sounds have come back and hit it out of the ballpark with their latest release: Weekend. Maja and the gang have elegantly meshed all of what made the band unique into their latest offering and it bloody rocks. Weekend grooves, bumps, pops, jams, and sways to the beat. It's a very consistent record that has many different elements to it. It never bores and remains a fun listen after the fact. If you buy it from the iTunes Store you get a 12th bonus track, so why wouldn't you do that? Viva Los Sonidos!
