A Favorite Of Mine

The first time I listened to it I thought it was good of course, and Sean’s voice had a sound I really liked, but it soon got old as I forced myself to listen to the whole album in one sitting. And then gradually I started listening to certain songs more frequently until I got used to them and moved into others and now I have such a strong appreciation for every song on this album, each one is such a masterpiece and makes what I believe to be one of the greatest albums of all time.
I’d also like to say it doesn’t fit the “rock” genre very well and would fit better into alternative perhaps.
Talented.

Love his voice. Love his composition. A beautiful soul shines through his music.

I remember finding this album through the recommended section on YouTube somewhere around 2014-2015. Coming back to it, it's just as timeless as before. The harmonies are beautiful and melodic, the instrumentals in the background are absolutely stunning...I'm in love.
I love the visuals the lyrics provide. Close your eyes, and you're in the story, watching everything like an omnipotent narrator. There are some that sound a little trite and cliché, but I think that almost adds to the charm. Sean's voice contributes so much to the atmosphere. It has such an individual tone you can't really hear any where else.
Ok I need to go but love this buy it ok bye
Stunning. Perfect.

I almost never write reviews on here. If you aren't sure, buy this. I first liked Dead Meat because of the Elliott Smith vibe. But then kept downloading song after song because I'd hear others and it is all so refreshing. Sean's voice is so pure and heartbreaking. The catchiness yet originality of the melodies seem effortless. I bet this would be great on vinyl too.
Absolutely Amazing

As a huge Beatles fan and my favorite beatle being John Lennon, his son simple inherited John Lennons musical talent and masterpiece of a mind,Sean has a voice so similar in key and sound to Johns it's as if I'm listening to John Lennon, only with Sean's great lyric choice and music composition. This album is the closest you can get to a modernist John Lennon/Beatles album and sense in such a huge fan of them I absolutely fell in love with this album, amazing...
Absolutely invigorating

This album is structurally sound, harmonically melodic and above all soothing..
What Sean is doing is truly great. His choice in vocal style is excellent! It's too bad all the world wants him to do is mimick his father. His father was legendary but Sean's got his own talent. If I had to recommend some songs off this album to anybody, I'd easily be able to tell you to check out parachute, dead meat and wait for me.
It is not traditional pop music but special pregnant music !

From start to fini, this album delivers everything from melancholy to euphoria.
