A meditation on beauty, love, and desire. If you are not familiar with this score you are in for an enormous revelation. A must for anyone with even a remote interest in Stephen Sondheim.

This is a little appreciated but wonderful work by Sondheim. I was brought back to it by Laura Benanti, and it is even more beautiful than I remembered. Definitely worth the buy!
