I’m glad The Beach Boys got back together for their 50th Anniversary and first time they recorded together since 1996 but only two or three of these songs are actually good

An honor to the great songs of their past. A truly amazing album. One of my favorites. They all sound so good together.

Brian Wilson is still writing great sounds and he and Al Jardine and Mike Love don’t even sound as old as they are. In fact the great sounding harmonies and even the high falsetto work actually sounds better than a recent live concert album from 1964. Incidentally, The Brian Wilson band is a well rehearsed and great sounding concert group if you get a chance to catch a performance in your area. Fans have a tendency to gravitate to familiar sounds, but please listen to this album in it’s entirety. It’s some of Brian’s best work and he got the most out of all the musicians and singers. This is highly recommended music, much of it kind of happy modernized 1960’s Beachies’ pop.

I don’t know how it is that this album didn’t dwarf all other Grammy nominations, it’s a perfect album. The harmonies, the lyrics saying so much… Brian Wilson is a treasure we need to fully realized lives among us. He’s given us so much, and now this… Good lord!!!

I will admit I am biased toward the Beach Boys. Bought this a while back but had not listened very intently to the album until recently. Wow, what a amazing album for Beach Boy fans. I absolutely love it. It encompasses a lot of who they have been for 50 years. Beach related music, harmonic melodies, upbeat fun tunes, plus a little remembrance type lyrics. Way to go guys. Great album.

THE BEACH BOYS ALBUM IS AWESOME. THEY KEEP UP TO 50 YEARS AGO. LOVING IT. ENJOY THE UPBEAT HAPPY SOUNDS. WENT TO THERE CONCERT ON CAPE COD EVERY YEAR. WAY TOO MUCH FUN.

I can’t believe that they sound this great after all these years! The harmonies are still as crisp as they were half a century ago—as much as I love the Stones, can we say the same about them today? Brian’s lyrics are as thoughtful as ever; hard to believe that he is a “Senior Citizen”! The last 3 songs make a great mini rock opera. Listen to this album; buy it; enjoy it. You won’t be disappointed; quite the contrary.

The suite/last 3 songs rack amongst some of Brian Wilson best. Thank you Beach boys for doing one more for the fans. I hope we have 1 more!!!!!
