Beautiful Surprise

It wasn't a surprise because I expect nothing but greatness, sweet and passionate music from the great Tamia Hill. I guess I should begin by explaining that I'm semi-embarrassed to admit that I'm probably the biggest Tamia fan on the globe. I cherish her artistry and her commitment to her craft. I'm not just a "casual fan". I have all her albums and do my best to support her music by sharing it with others. And when she has private concerts like the ones she frequents in NY or DC, I do my best to make travel arrangements. The Beautiful Surprise album contains a different style as far as vocal usage from Tamia is concerned. So as an avid fan and follower, I can appreciate her willingness to display a different layer of vocal excellence. Each track has its own flavor and story, but the album to me is one harmonic message, almost like a romance novel in the form of music. there's love lost, love found, admiration and appreciation for the significant other, excitement. All the things not just R&B fans, but fans of love and great music want. this review has gone way too long, but I just wanted share are my views and music appreciation. although I'm pretty biased, I believe that anyone who purchases this work as well as any others from Tamia will understand where I'm coming from.

Still...I love this version. It has western soul feel! This whole album is great!
