If you are a brass player (not just a trumpet player....) you need to get this CD.... must have. Oh, and who would've guessed that a guy whose username is "monettelvr" would write a negative review about a trumpet player who plays a yamaha.... Come on man, this CD is amazing!

I wholeheartedly disagree with Insult, and believe that J.B. Arban would be proud that his works have been arranged so many different ways, and that a variation of a piece meant to challenge the trumpet player had been adapted to a truly astounding show of control and skill.

While this may indeed be outstanding trumpet playing, it is an insult to Arban, every trumpet player who ever played The Carnival of Venice and a display of utter arrogance.

I have never heard such a master. Even Clarke would be hard pressed to compete. A must have for any trumpeter

I was lucky enough to have this guy play at my school and he is phenomenal. His music is very enticing and definetly worth listening to. This guy is legendary.
  • Just... incredible.

From the first 3 octave jumps in The Carnival of Venus, Vizzutti demonstrates his utter mastery of the art of the trumpet. It's just sick.
