Two of my favorite PJ songs from the Vitology/No Code era. Pretty sure this was recorded with Uncle Neil when he did his Mirrorball album.

Most will say Ten and Vs were Pearl Jams best albums. But the diehards that remained after the grunge years, know that No code, Yield, and Binaural were the 3 most creative, artistic and beautiful albums ever created. These two songs here are after Vitalogy and before the release of No Code. Eddie Vedder, having been ripped off 20x over by the likes of STP's Weiland and more, changed his voice style to more of a front-of-mouth style as opposed to his bellowing guttural tones. I got Id is one of my fav tunes ever. And Long Road is a fav slow opener.

I bought this cd when it came out and have loved it ever since. I couldn't imagine at 15 years of age I'd still love this band at 35 years of age, wow. Such a great single. This is timeless music.

With a career as long and a catalog as deep as Pearl Jam has its nearly impossible to say what their best song may be..but without question these 2 would be in the top 10
