Hauntingly beautiful and spare in presentation... especially the lovely ballad, Live for the Touch, which is almost perfect in every way.

Is a must have for your Ipod. Itunes needs "Bum Raps And Love Taps" and "Queen Of The Meadow" on here. I love Jennifer. Check out Lovage.

She has such a sultry, moody voice, paired up w/ some amazing musicians to create a phenomenal album. "Baby Get Lost", "Timing Is Everything", are just a few to name that are my favorites from this album. Make sure to check out their new album "Bum Raps and Love Taps". "Set The Grass on Fire" is killer. :)

The brilliant songwriters of Elysian Fields, Jennifer Charles and Oren Bloedow do it again! They have crafted a beautiful art work here with Dreams.... Each song is it's own universe, some dreamy and surreal (drunk on dark sublime), some playful and sassy (timing is everything), other songs filled with longing, hope, love, and sadness. Gorgeous melodies, great musicianship, soaring sensual vocals of Ms. Charles. Also worth noting, a lovely romantic duet (passing on the stairs) between Bloedow and Charles, reminiscent of a Leonard Cohen song perhaps. A jewel of a record! These songs will transport you to another land, a dark paradise hidden in us all. Great driving music too.
