I don't know how I missed this record when it came out. The songwriting here is off the charts, and Sheryl's vocals are as good as I've ever heard. She fits so naturally into the Country genre, it feels like an old pair of jeans.

I’ve always enjoyed Sheryl Crow’s music over the years but not enough to go out and spend money to purchase it…until now that is. I listened to samples of the songs that were not played on mainstream radio stations and felt compelled to purchase the entire album. I immediately fell in love with this record and I hope that she does something similar to this in the future. It remains among some of my favorite albums purchased to date.
  • Sheryl Crow Traded for Taylor Swift

I have all of Sheryl’s albums. Can’t stand the country sound. Nashville (AP) - Today the music world was shocked with a blockbuster trade between country music and pop music. Country music received legend Sheryl Crow, in exchange pop music received Taylor Swift and a musician to be named later. Sheryl Crow fans have come to realize with her new album “Feels Like Home" that if they can’t tolerate their favorite singer of 25 years singing country, country music must actually be the worst music in the world.

I love Sheryl Crow -- I did not love this album :( It felt hollow and ordinary without that little bit of edge and swagger she usually has - I know she's been through alot and maybe she's exploring her softer side, but to me it didn't feel authentic. I hope she finds her true voice again! Peace

Really like the song Easy and tried to get into the album, but couldn't. Earlier albums are great but there is just something about the entire album that isn't so great.
  • Pick 2 Songs, and Move on...

I absolutely adore Sheryl Crow- Yet I have to agree with my fellow posters, that something is 'off' here. Her Voice is its own genre- like Tom Petty, like Beoncè, like Elvis. She's using the Country template and singing Country type songs, but She is Sheryl Crow. Her voice and command of it is unique in itself - so harmonious that she stands above all the pop artists of today- and No more labeling is needed. Are the songs good? That's the proper question- a couple of songs, maybe are and my feeling is that as an artist, she's growing, she tried this route and nothing spectacular... Pick 2 songs you like, save 'em in your library, if you are a SC fan and move on. It's obviously Not her best showcase for a generational singer such as she,- but to try it and maybe reach fans she otherwise would have missed is bold, positive and worth this try. MJ in Atlanta
  • Sheryl Crow can do no wrong

Sheryl can sing, write her own songs, play her own instruments, and do it all while looking good and having a cool sense of humor too. What else is there to say? Keep on Truckin, Sheryl. How about doing an album of country/acoustic/bluegrass versions of your classics? Bluegrass versions of “You’re an Original” and “There Goes the Neighborhood” would be incredible.
