I am so excited to have something new and fresh to listen to!! Don't miss out on this raw talent. Mike Bauer has an amazing voice that I could never get sick of hearing. So refreshing and clean!

If you didn't already know, let me just tell you, Bauer is an extremely TALENTED singer/songwriter/musican with an AMAZING voice, which is more than evident on this album. The tracks are wonderfully composed, by Bauer himself, each and every song sets a certain mood and their lyrics are thoughtfully written. ...and let me just say again, he's go an AMAZING voice!!! The first track on the album "Let's Talk" is my jam right now, it oozes swag (a hint of MJ and JT in there), the lyrics make you melt, and there's an incredible urge to strip down to the chonies in front of the mirror and do your own "Risky Business". "One Piece At A Time", "Bonita" and "New Home Team" are also incredible tracks, currently on my playlist and in heavy rotation. I'm looking forward to the third volume.

I typically listen to hip hop/Latin/80's music and it doesn't come easy for me to buy into other genres but I like this album. Great songs!

You may liken Mike Bauer's overall sound to bands or artists you may have heard before, but what he possesses is something quite unique. Think shades of early John Mayer's subtle, yet crafty acoustic playing meets the falsetto-driven Adam Levine off Songs About Jane meets the modern composing of Justin Timberlake and you're somewhere in the same musical hemisphere. Those elements combined with virtual endless vocal range and fantastic songwriting - both in lyrics and arrangement - give Bauer's style a certain swagger, one in which listeners can tell he's comfortable and who's comfort gives the listener comfort. Make sense? Fantastically mixed and produced, Financial Aid is a great is simply aural bliss.

Amazing well crafted tunes! Each piece is beautiful in its own unique way and what an incredible voice!!! All the songs are my favorite, "One piece at a time" is simply a sweet feel good song that give you that warm & fuzzy feeling (LOVE IT!) , "New Home Team" (LISTEN TO HIS WORDS) the title alone hit the spot, engaging and powerful! You have to check it all out including "Bonita" from his first volume- a SEXY song indeed! "I Bet You".... I bet you'll love this song too! I'm serious!!

I've had the pleasure of owning this cd and seeing him live and he is truly an amazing artist. He's of the caliber of Michael Buble and other contemporary standard singers which I find very refreshing to listen too.

This style of music is pretty relaxing. When I listen to his music, I keep thinking of an outdoor summertime dinner party with real cool friends, with candles and lanterns lit up, good food, great wine and great conversations, with this sound playing in the back. It puts me in a good mood!
