Based on straight up Crooked I's lyricism, Apex Predator competes with or even is better than Kendrick Lamar's Good Kid M.A.A.D. City. The only problem with Apex is the production of the album, but otherwise this album deserves much more credit than it is given.

This Is great. Agreeable that it needs more songs but all the songs are 110% effort by Crooked I and its another plus that he got Tech on the album! WE WANT MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!

This album is dope, better than most of the stuff u hear on the radio. I have been a Crooked I fan for over 10 years and I think he is one of the best to ever get on the mic. He is definitely in my top 10.

man, been followin Crook since 08 and have loved diggin in to everything he put out for a long time. still a huge supporter and vouche for his mic skills being up in the elite of hip hop. but, dude been going down this road for a while now of just pickin some crazy beats. theyre not all bad, but overall i hate these sounds. the techno/ electronic/ dubstep-hiphop blend crap needs to die fast. i hate that even tho i still love crook, that i'd rather bump hiphop weekly series and young boss series over this new stuff. once again, i DONT BASE THAT ON LYRICS, because lyrically he still the best
