Another compelling offering from Brian Williams. With voices at the centerpiece of most of the songs, "The Word as Power" delivers hypnotic vehicles to transport the listener to places both eerie and familiar. While Tool/Puscifer's Maynard lends his vocal talents to Abaddon, his voice is warped enough that you don't actually make the connection unless you know to look for it. Chorazin is a stunning work, and easily my favorite on the album.
